The Bilingual Claims Customer Service - Initial Loss position at Kemper is designed for customer service professionals who are passionate about helping others. The position requires no prior insurance experience, as a comprehensive training program is provided to equip employees with the necessary knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide superior and responsive customer service in a call center environment.
  • Receive incoming calls from customers regarding claims.
  • Enter information into the claims system to initiate the claims handling process.
  • Answer customer questions and provide information when possible, directing requests to the appropriate departments as necessary.

Requirements

  • 1 year of customer service or call center experience required
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Good typing skills - 25 WPM with 95% accuracy required
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Must be bilingual in Spanish and English
