About the position
The Customer Service Representative for the International Desk at Teleflora plays a crucial role in maintaining and reconciling international accounts. This position involves providing superior service to international affiliates, handling account resolutions, and ensuring accurate documentation of customer interactions. The role requires a thorough understanding of Teleflora's statements, particularly for international orders, and involves working both in the office and remotely.
Responsibilities
- Act as liaison for Teleflora and International affiliates by providing superior service that reinforces our commitment to International orders.
- Maintain spreadsheets and reconcile monthly statements for international accounts.
- Prepare and submit International wire transfers and handle special checks.
- Document and track all customer complaints accurately to monitor and address concerns as needed.
- Communicate with other departments to help meet departmental needs.
- Work directly with domestic and international florists to resolve any issues with International orders.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; college business courses in accounting or an undergraduate degree preferred.
- Basic accounting skills pertaining to AR and AP transactions.
- Proficient PC skills and good basic Excel skills.
- Ability to make decisions with little direction.
- Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service skills, friendly, courteous, and helpful.
- Strong attention to detail including accurate spelling and appropriate abbreviations.
Nice-to-haves
- Bilingual in Spanish is helpful but not required.
- Basic world geography skills are helpful.
