About the position

The Customer Service Representative at Marc Apartments is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to residents and potential residents, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable community environment. This role involves communication with residents regarding service needs, scheduling maintenance, and overseeing recreational facilities. The representative will also plan resident events and enforce facility policies, all while utilizing professional sales and marketing techniques to maintain high occupancy rates.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with residents regarding service needs and requests.
  • Schedule maintenance and service contract personnel to perform requested services.
  • Monitor the clubhouse and recreational facilities during or after office hours.
  • Oversee activities and enforce policies regarding the use of facilities.
  • Plan and coordinate resident events.
  • Accept payments for facility charges and secure funds.
  • Follow safety procedures and report hazards or equipment failures.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and handle resident service requests.
  • Transfer calls to operations or general manager when appropriate.
  • Complete service requests and purchasing documentation accurately.
  • Produce miscellaneous resident communications as needed.
  • Physically inspect property, pick up litter, and report service needs to maintenance staff.
  • Inspect move-outs and vacancies.
  • Organize and file appropriate reports and paperwork.
  • Assist manager and assistant manager in preparing daily and weekly reports.

Requirements

  • Property management experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Must be available on weekends and/or have flexible scheduling for events.
  • Experience with computer programs including word processing and rental systems.
  • Punctual and reliable.
