The Assistant Store Manager plays a crucial role as a front-line brand ambassador for Check N Go or Allied Cash Advance, embodying the company's identity through behavior, values, and ethics in support of our mission. This position is responsible for ensuring outstanding customer service and regulatory excellence, which is vital for maintaining the trust and satisfaction of our customers. In this role, the Assistant Store Manager will serve and educate customers on the product portfolio, presenting all options for products and services that meet their needs. They will escalate issues to the store manager, District Director of Operations (DDO), and corporate office if unable to resolve customer issues directly. The position requires answering telephone inquiries related to general questions, customer applications, requests, or other issues, as well as performing outbound customer sales, courtesy, and collection calls in accordance with federal regulations and store operating procedures. The Assistant Store Manager will interact with customers using active listening skills to confirm or clarify information and diffuse complaints. They will handle and count currency, cash, and coins, manage a cash drawer, and may be responsible for bank deposits or pickups. Balancing individual batch receipts with store sales reports at the end of the day and assisting with resolving discrepancies is also part of the job. Compliance with federal and state regulations and company policies is essential, and the Assistant Store Manager will complete compliance training and quarterly agreements timely. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
