Universal Weather and Aviation is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative, also known as a Mission Advisor, to join our team in Houston, Texas. As a Mission Advisor, you will be the primary contact for our global customers, working closely with them to coordinate safe and economical flight operations while adhering to regulations and client preferences. You will learn to develop trip itineraries, manage in-flight operations, and follow up post-mission to ensure client satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include facilitating mission-related activities, collaborating with clients and vendors, and capturing aviation needs to create operational plans that align with client preferences. Responsibilities

  • Facilitating the operational success of all mission-related activities for assigned client(s).
  • Partnering with assigned client's flight department to coordinate all mission requirements including pre-planning, in-flight mission management, and post-mission follow-up.
  • Professionally arranging products and services in a timely manner in accordance with policies, procedures, regulations, and client preferences.
  • Capturing client's aviation needs and developing them into a functioning operational plan.

Requirements

  • Stellar customer service skills with the ability to confidently communicate with internal and external customers at all levels.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; able to collaborate effectively and build professional relationships.
  • Flexibility to adapt to ever-changing requests from customers and changes in global laws and regulations.
  • Ability to be persuasive and lead communications to advise clients of best choices and alternatives.
  • Desire to learn and quickly adapt to new information and technology.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Time management skills, including the ability to work in a 24/7 environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated determination and initiative with a desire to continuously learn new tasks and requirements.
  • Proficient in a computerized office environment, including knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated keyboarding skills and proficiency in conducting research to make critical decisions.
  • Basic math skills to accurately calculate flight schedules and general knowledge of geography.
