About the position

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) at Montrose Regional Airport is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers. This role involves face-to-face interactions, assisting with rental needs, and providing administrative support. The CSR will gain hands-on experience and training to effectively manage customer inquiries, process transactions, and ensure a positive rental experience.

Responsibilities

  • Take incoming calls for reservations, rate quotes, and general inquiries, providing information and resolutions for customers and vendors.
  • Manage outgoing calls for callback management and miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
  • Provide high-level customer service by assisting customers with their rental needs in person and over the phone.
  • Meet and greet customers in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Provide directions and general assistance to customers.
  • Assess the condition of rental vehicles upon return.
  • Process returns, check-ins, and exit kiosk transactions.
  • Market the company while safely picking up and dropping off customers, assisting as needed.
  • Communicate rental terms, vehicle features, and additional services to customers.
  • Sell optional protection products, upgrades, and other additional equipment as needed.
  • Notify management of any known vehicle problems and required maintenance.
  • Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors as needed.
  • Perform various administrative and basic accounting functions, including research and billing support tasks, accounts receivables, and running reports.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years.
  • No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship.
  • Must have at least 6 months of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have worked 12 months or more at the most recent employer.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working late evenings and weekends preferred.
