About the position

Amentum is seeking a full-time Military Entry Processing Stations (MEPS) Customer Service Representative to oversee all aspects of the MEPS Support Services Contract at various locations. The role involves coordinating with military representatives, hotel staff, and transportation services to ensure authorized service applicants receive the necessary support as specified in the contract. The position requires shift work with varying schedules from Sunday PM through Friday PM.

Responsibilities

• Performs applicant check-in/orientation and checkout.
• Conducts room, kitchen, meal, and facility inspections.
• Forecasts daily support requirements.
• Communicates with military representatives and hotel staff.
• Resolves minor problems and communicates with the Regional Manager.
• Completes paperwork by entering information manually and electronically.
• Reconciles monthly charges and billing.
• Inventories company assets.
• Maintains regular attendance to ensure contract compliance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least three years of customer service experience.
• Military or Department of Defense experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively before groups.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
• Practical working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and basic internet navigation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any facilities credentials/authorization.

Nice-to-haves
