About the position

Join the 1st Franklin team as a Customer Service Representative in Myrtle Beach, SC. This position is essential in leveraging interpersonal skills and business knowledge to meet the needs of our customers effectively. As a Customer Service Representative (CSR), you will work closely with the Branch Manager and staff to build strong relationships and identify the specific needs of our customers. Your role will involve being knowledgeable about the features of our products and services to ensure an exceptional customer experience. The CSR will conduct interviews with customers, utilizing professionalism, patience, curiosity, and a results-oriented approach to provide the best service possible. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and responding to customer needs in a timely and efficient manner. Building both internal and external relationships is crucial, as is ensuring customer confidentiality and the protection of private information. You will interview customers and process applications, making recommendations for product and service approvals. Additionally, you will handle payment processing, verify cash and endorsements, issue receipts, and manage ACH transactions. You will also prepare and present assigned daily marketing offers and be responsible for the collection of customer accounts. Maintaining accurate records of all daily assigned tasks is a key part of your responsibilities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to meet current Licensing requirements of various States and Federal regulators
  • Demonstrate the ability to analyze relevant information and individual judgment
  • Advanced interpersonal relationship skills at a variety of levels and greatly differing social and business settings
  • Ability to maintain confidential business and personal information
  • Action and result focused
  • Strong communication skills (verbal / written / interpersonal)
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite products
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to operate an automobile
