About the position

The Customer Service Representative/Order Processor at Hancock Seed Company is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while processing orders and managing customer inquiries. This role is crucial during peak seasons, requiring a positive attitude, quick thinking, and effective multitasking skills. The representative will assist customers both over the phone and in person, ensuring a smooth order process and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Process orders quickly and accurately
  • Respond to leads efficiently and timely by answering questions accurately and providing customer service
  • Assist customers over the phone and walk-in customers with orders and questions
  • Manage emails to assist customers, answer questions, and pursue leads
  • Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales effort
  • Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers
  • Track all sales activities in the company CRM system and update account information regularly.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of sales experience, desired but not required if you have a natural drive and ability to sell
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas
  • Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems
