About the position

Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove, a leading manufacturer of luxury kitchen appliances, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Customer Service Representative to join our team in Madison, WI. As a family-owned company with a long-standing reputation for excellence, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service. Our Customer Service Representatives play a crucial role in supporting our luxury appliance brands by taking calls from product owners, service and installation partners, dealers, and product distributors. This position is part-time, with an estimated annual salary ranging from $34.1K to $43.2K, and requires candidates to live within 100 miles of Madison, WI. In this role, you will be the voice of Sub-Zero Group, Inc., providing professional, personable, and timely responses to our customers and field partners. You will be responsible for efficiently accessing and entering data in multiple software programs while conversing with callers. Your ability to skillfully communicate will be essential in understanding customer issues, providing product troubleshooting, and recommending solutions to resolve concerns. You will also answer use and care questions, educating customers to maximize their enjoyment of our innovative products. We offer a comprehensive training program that includes classroom instruction, self-led learning, and hands-on experiential training to ensure you are well-equipped to meet the demands of your role. The initial training period lasts for three months and is conducted onsite in Madison, WI. After training, the part-time schedule will consist of 25-29 hours per week, with varying days and times. Responsibilities

  • Exhibit excellent customer service skills while providing professional, personable, timely, and accurate responses to customers and field partners.
  • Efficiently access and enter data in multiple software programs while conversing with callers.
  • Skillfully communicate to understand the initial issue, provide product troubleshooting, and recommend a course of action to resolve customer concerns.
  • Answer use and care questions while educating customers to maximize their enjoyment and use of our innovative line of products.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing a high level of customer service that includes negotiating to a solution that is mutually beneficial to the customer and the company.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience required, product support experience preferred.
  • Intermediate problem solving and negotiation skills are necessary.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a polished and professional style and delivery are essential.
  • Must be located within 100 miles of Madison, WI and able to attend on-site trainings during the first 3 months.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree or other advanced education is a plus but not required.
