About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Customer Service Representative (CSR) and Personal Assistant to join our dynamic insurance brokerage. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who excels in customer service and is comfortable assisting the owner/manager with various tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service via phone, email, and chat, addressing client inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues, ensuring appropriate solutions and follow-up.
  • Accurately maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions in our system.
  • Work closely with other team members to drive customer satisfaction and contribute to company objectives.
  • Stay informed about our products and services to offer expert assistance.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure a consistent, high-quality service experience.
  • Assist the owner/manager with various tasks, which may include running errands, checking mail, answering calls, and picking up lunch for the office.
  • Provide additional support as needed to help the office run smoothly.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a college degree is preferred.
  • Prior experience in customer service, administrative assistance, or a related field is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and software applications (e.g., CRM systems, MS Office).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in phone etiquette.
  • Knowledge of Spanish.
