About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. Your ability to communicate effectively and handle inquiries will be essential in ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong phone etiquette and the ability to analyze customer needs while maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Advise tenants of upcoming inspections and routine maintenance appointments.
  • Ensure all tenants maintain current renter's insurance policies.
  • Enter invoices for tenants and receive payments.
  • Apply late fees as applicable and make calls to tenants for delinquent payments.
  • Maintain a waitlist for potential tenants.
  • Review and verify vendor records, ensuring compliance with payment terms and conditions.
  • Respond to inquiries from vendors and customers regarding billing, payments, and account information.
  • Be an active participant with the implementation of software & set-up.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a rental customer service or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
  • Ability to work efficiently in an office environment with proficiency in data entry.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to analyze information effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Multilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are a plus but not required.
