About the position
The Customer Service Representative position at Avis Budget Group is a part-time role focused on providing excellent customer service in an outdoor setting. The representative will assist customers with various aspects of the rental and return process at airport lots, ensuring a positive experience while performing tasks such as checking cars and processing rentals.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in the rental and return process on airport lots.
- Check cars and enter information using a handheld device.
- Process rentals for loyalty customers.
- Assist customers at exit gates and check-in cars at return.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the process.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Basic computer skills (typing, data entry)
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work outdoors
- Flexibility to work all shifts
- Ability to type, sit, stand, walk, or move throughout the rental lot and enter/exit vehicles for prolonged periods
- Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
Nice-to-haves
- 6 months retail customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
