About the position

The City of Conway is seeking a Customer Service Representative/Records Clerk to work in the Conway Police Department. This role involves the preparation, routing, filing, and distribution of law enforcement and public safety reports and records, as well as the collection and reporting of associated funds. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality while interacting with the public and city employees.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, route, file, and distribute law enforcement/public safety reports and records.
  • Collect and report monies received for records and reports.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Communicate effectively with the public, other departments, and city employees.
  • Work independently and manage flexible working hours as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; an Associate's degree is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
  • Ability to type 45 WPM accurately.
  • Numerical and alphabetical filing capabilities.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Must possess a valid Arkansas Driver's license.
