About the position

Maximus is seeking Customer Service Representatives to support the Health Texas project by providing customer care and benefit enrollment services through various communication channels including telephone, IVR, and web-based portals. This full-time position offers a hybrid/remote work model, starting with onsite training before transitioning to remote work. Comprehensive training is provided to ensure representatives are well-equipped to handle inquiries professionally and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls from consumers, including the general public and prospective enrollees, while adhering to performance standards and confidentiality policies.
  • Track and document all inquiries using applicable systems.
  • Complete associated tasks according to established guidelines.
  • Meet Quality Assurance (QA) and other key performance metrics.
  • Facilitate the fulfillment of caller requests for materials via mail, email, or download.
  • Transfer/refer consumers to appropriate entities according to established guidelines.
  • Escalate calls or issues to designated staff for resolution as needed.
  • Facilitate translation services for non-English speaking callers according to procedures.
  • Attend meetings and trainings as requested and maintain up-to-date knowledge of all programs and systems.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 0-6 months of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Must reside in the state of Texas, within 70 miles of El Paso.

Nice-to-haves
