About the position

The Customer Service Representative at Don Quijote (USA) Co., Ltd is responsible for ensuring that store shelves are well-organized, products are properly displayed, and promotional materials are effectively placed. This role involves checking product expiration dates, maintaining store cleanliness, and providing customer assistance. The position is available for both part-time and full-time employment, with a focus on creating an appealing shopping environment to enhance customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure store shelves are faced and presentable by neatly displaying and organizing merchandise.
• Rotate stock to adhere to the FIFO method, ensuring older products are in front.
• Check expiration dates of perishable and non-perishable items and remove expired products.
• Place and maintain signs, promotional materials, and advertisements in the store.
• Greet customers and assist them in finding products or answering questions.
• Regularly clean shelves, products, and the store floor to maintain a neat environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure effective merchandise flow.

Requirements

• Customer service experience preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to pay attention to detail in product placement and organization.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift products for extended periods.
• Strong customer service skills to interact positively with customers.
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
