About the position

The Customer Service Representative at Arisa Health will play a crucial role in supporting the outpatient clinic by managing appointment scheduling, client interactions, and administrative tasks. This position is essential for ensuring smooth operations and providing excellent service to clients seeking behavioral health support.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule appointments for medical staff and fill open slots due to cancellations.
  • Check clients in and out promptly.
  • Complete pre-appointment checks for clients.
  • Prepare and maintain client records, including fee agreements and eligibility updates.
  • Notify medical staff regarding authorizations and pre-certifications as needed.
  • Engage clients in a supportive manner during inquiries for services.
  • Reconcile reports within the EMR system and address billing issues with staff.
  • Manage VISA receipts and order supplies bi-monthly for the department.
  • Answer phones within three rings, taking accurate messages and routing calls appropriately.
  • Collect payments according to ARISA Health payment policy and enter them into the EMR system.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of experience scheduling appointments in a medical office preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Problem-solving mindset and good communication skills.
  • Excellent telephone skills.
