You will be responsible for processing and logging yard sorts, receiving requests, and developing a systematic approach to logging these requests, including details such as purpose, lead, start and end times, and team members involved. Your role will also involve monitoring yard sort teams, ensuring quality work, and maintaining proper procedures and team wear among team members. In addition to these responsibilities, you will inspect the truck loading area and yard, ensuring cleanliness and reporting any spills or trash to the appropriate personnel. You will also be tasked with monitoring and troubleshooting IT problems, managing phone and email communications, and utilizing the Veles system to place vehicles on hold or release holds as needed. This position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as you will be responding to customer queries and collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations.
