The Customer Service Representative with Warehouse Responsibilities at Wilbur-Ellis Company plays a crucial role in ensuring excellent service and overall customer satisfaction. In addition to clerical tasks, the representative will handle customer inquiries, process and fulfill orders, and ensure timely and accurate delivery. The role also involves collaboration with the sales team to manage accounts receivable and payable, as well as preparing standard and custom reports as requested by management. Responsibilities

  • Assists with electronic order entry and processing (sales order, shipping documents, invoicing) utilizing JD Edwards ERP software.
  • Work closely with sales team and credit department to reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and finance charges.
  • Order office materials as needed and submit payment through proper channels.
  • Responds to customer inquiries in a timely, accurate and appropriate manner.
  • Process and fulfill customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Meet or exceed timelines established under Timely Transaction Processing (TTP) policy.
  • Assist Sales Team in accurate customer pricing and quickly resolve any inquiries or concerns.
  • Prepare standard use and sales reports as well as any custom reports as requested by management, sales and customers.
  • Assist other office team members in administrative tasks to ensure quality customer service, meeting deadlines and sales support.
  • Pull orders for deliveries, transfers, and LTL shipments.
  • Support Sales and/or Operations Manager as requested.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency with computers to intermediate level utilizing Microsoft Windows, Windows applications and ERP order entry systems.
  • Knowledge of mathematical concepts and the ability to apply such concepts as fractions, percentages and ratios to practical application with accuracy.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift rapidly, and daily tasks may vary.
  • Proactively identify issues and implement solutions to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks related to warehouse operations.
  • Ability to sit at a desk and/or computer terminal to perform writing and/or keying/typing information for protracted periods of time.
  • Mobility to move freely across uneven terrain both indoors and outdoors safely.

Nice-to-haves

  • Agriculture knowledge (Preferred but not required) - Understanding of products and industry practices.
  • Forklift experience (Preferred but not required) - Willingness to learn and be trained to operate forklift.
