About the position

The Customer Service Representative at Control Products, Inc. is responsible for managing customer inquiries, supporting sales processes, and enhancing customer satisfaction in a technical or manufacturing environment. This part-time role requires effective communication and order management skills, with a focus on providing timely updates to customers regarding their orders and inquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Field inquiries from customers and potential customers, including literature requests, price/delivery quotes, open order status, change orders, and expedites.
  • Manage order processing, including accurate entry, tracking, and updating of order status within the ERP system.
  • Perform other ERP functions, including product updates, RMA processing, and invoicing.
  • Follow up with customers on orders, backorders, or pending inquiries to provide timely updates, working closely with production control coordinators.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; an associate's degree in Business, Engineering Technology, or a related field is a plus.
  • 2+ years in customer service roles, preferably within a technical or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with ERP and CRM software required; Excel experience a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a technical or manufacturing environment is preferred.
