Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of basic clerical and administrative work with extensive customer contact
• Perform basic accounting tasks and routines
• Assist with basic accounting tasks and preparing financial statements
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• CPR Certification
• First Aid Certification
• Valid California Driver's License
• Knowledge of basic accounting methods and procedures
• Knowledge of general office procedures including the use of basic office equipment
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Proficient in records and filing techniques
• Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing
• Ability to establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with customers
• Ability to prepare clear and concise documents
• Typing speed of a minimum of 35 wpm using word processing programs
• Experience with spreadsheets and database systems
• Understanding and ability to carry out oral and written instructions
• Two years of satisfactory employment as a customer service representative or equivalent position
• Satisfactory completion of two years course work in business administration, liberal arts, or related field at the community college level
• One year of customer service work and satisfactory completion of one-year course work in business administration, liberal arts, or related field at the community college level
