About the position

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a crucial role in providing high-quality, patient-focused services at Premier Health Consultants LLC. This position serves as the first and last point of contact for patients, ensuring their needs are met through effective communication and clerical support. The CSR is responsible for maintaining patient records, verifying insurance information, and handling routine office tasks while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain appropriate clinical/clerical standards.
• Follow the policy and procedures as outlined in the Company Policy and Procedure Manual.
• Receive incoming telephone calls, prioritize them, and direct calls to the appropriate personnel.
• Greet patients in a friendly manner and collect insurance cards and identification.
• Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary patient information.
• Enter patient admitting information into the computer and add patients to the clinic schedule.
• Receive payments and perform accounting duties according to departmental procedures.
• Balance daily ledgers and prepare bank deposits.
• Participate in department quality improvement activities and staff educational programs.
• Attend departmental meetings and maintain competency as per company guidelines.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Knowledge of EMR, DocuTap, Excel Spreadsheet software, and MS Word Processing software.
