About the position

The Customer Service Representative at LAZ Parking is responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers and clients while providing exceptional service. This role involves greeting customers, assisting with inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience in the parking facility. The representative will also handle cashiering functions and maintain the general upkeep of the garage, all while embodying the company's commitment to a people-first approach.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers by name and respond promptly to their inquiries and concerns.
  • Assist customers in lobbies, lanes, and the parking office, directing traffic as needed.
  • Promote good customer relations by providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor.
  • Add/delete accounts and input required information into the parking revenue control system.
  • Assist with cashiering functions as needed.
  • Oversee general maintenance of the garage, including cleaning and equipment upkeep.
  • Maintain and repair malfunctioning parking equipment to ensure customer access.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
  • Strong customer service experience.
  • Basic computer skills in the parking revenue control system.
  • Cash handling experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to handle challenging and emotionally charged situations.
  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.

Nice-to-haves

  • Parking industry experience preferred but not required.
  • Willingness to be flexible and work at multiple facility locations.
