About the position

LaSalle Network is seeking a professional and friendly Customer Service Representative to serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers. This role is essential in creating a positive and welcoming impression for the company, and it requires a strong focus on customer service and relationship building. The position is 100% onsite in Lincolnshire, IL.

Responsibilities

  • Research and/or track orders
  • Contact vendors for pricing, order status, and tracking
  • Expedite a pick on an order or any other distribution request
  • Provide estimated delivery dates or lead times on products
  • Update and provide status on repair orders
  • Build solid relationships with other internal departments and vendors
  • Evaluate current processes for improvement and work on recommendations with management
  • Work as a team to manage daily workflow
  • Handle escalated customer issues when necessary
  • Answer emails and incoming calls from internal customers as needed

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of Customer Service Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and creative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent typing and data entry skills
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness with critical attention to detail
  • History of balancing competing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
