The Customer Service Representative is tasked with providing excellent customer service for HOM Furniture’s customers. Necessary tasks include answering phones to either direct callers to the proper department or to answer any questions they may have. The role involves finalizing orders, taking payments, and scheduling deliveries and pickups. Additionally, the representative will process returns and initial paperwork for warranty claims, make changes and cancellations to orders when appropriate, and update customers on changes to their order status. Processing finance applications is also part of the job. The Customer Service Representative serves as a support for showroom Sales Consultants, assisting with questions and processing orders as needed. They will process sales for accessories and other small purchases and occasionally work the sales floor following HOM Furniture’s proven sales methods. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
