About The Position

As a Customer Service Representative at Quipt Home Medical, you will serve as a vital point of contact for patients, caregivers, referral sources, and commercial accounts. Your role will involve interacting with customers through various channels, including in-person, telephone, and online communications, to provide information about our clinical respiratory equipment and services. You will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and processing orders in a timely and efficient manner. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of our products, company policies, and procedures, as well as the ability to navigate insurance verification and documentation requirements. In your daily responsibilities, you will greet visitors, answer phone calls with a professional demeanor, and ensure that all communications are handled accurately. You will qualify customer orders by assessing their diagnosis and insurance coverage, ensuring that all necessary information is collected for third-party billing. Additionally, you will arrange delivery and pickup times for equipment, handle customer complaints with professionalism, and maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications. Your role will also involve auditing and confirming delivery paperwork, tracking active rentals, and obtaining prior authorization from insurance providers. You will be expected to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and to participate in ongoing training programs to enhance your knowledge and skills in the industry. Adherence to company policies and procedures is essential, and you may be required to perform duties at other company locations as needed.
