About the position

The Customer Service Representative will serve as the first point of contact for customers at Robert Half in Warwick, New York. This role involves handling inbound and outbound calls, processing orders, and providing exceptional customer service. It is a short-term contract position that requires strong communication and multitasking skills to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain positive relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, handling both inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Process new orders from customers in an efficient and accurate manner.
  • Address customer inquiries regarding invoices and direct them to the appropriate departments as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to manage and organize customer data.
  • Coordinate with other departments such as technical support to resolve customer issues.
  • Utilize excellent multitasking skills to handle multiple customer inquiries at once.
  • Conduct data entry tasks as required to update customer information.
  • Manage customer appointments and schedules as needed.
  • Use your customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain positive customer relationships.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability in answering inbound calls.
  • Proven experience in a call center customer service environment.
  • High proficiency in customer service.
  • Skilled in data entry tasks.
  • Ability to manage email correspondence effectively.
  • Experience with both inbound and outbound calls.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Experience with order entry.
  • Ability to schedule appointments effectively.
