About the position

The Customer Service Representative at TDK Corporation of America plays a crucial role in maintaining customer accounts and ensuring effective communication between customers, vendors, and sales teams. This hybrid position requires proactive problem-solving skills and a passion for customer service, focusing on order processing, inventory planning, and customer relationship management.

Responsibilities

  • Read correspondence from both internal and external sources.
  • Monitor and report company fill rate performance to delivery schedules.
  • Monitor and verify the status of customer orders.
  • Prepare and deliver orders coverage, shipments, invoicing, and other reports related to order processing.
  • Arrange scheduling for vendors' production facility to meet delivery requirements.
  • Maintain customer relationships by interfacing with customer staff (engineering, purchasing, etc.).
  • Process and fill orders and verify pricing and terms.
  • Plan and document future inventory needs, policies, and procedures.
  • Identify non-moving inventory items and arrange for disposal.
  • Respond to customer or potential customer requests for information and problem-solving.

Requirements

  • At least 1+ years of Customer Service experience working with large orders.
  • Experience with supply chain/logistics, order management, and inventory levels.
  • Intermediate level proficiency in Excel.
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.
  • Experience with SAP.
