About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented customer service representative, with a pleasant demeanor, to play a key role in the success of our company by maintaining a positive relationship with a wide variety of Waring Oil fuel and lubricant accounts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and providing professional customer support while effectively managing the point of sale (POS) system for fuel pumps at various locations including Biloxi, Louisville, and Jackson. This position requires a proactive approach to customer service, with an emphasis on communication and problem-solving skills. The representative will interact with customers through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings, ensuring that all inquiries are addressed promptly and efficiently. Additionally, the role involves processing orders, maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, and providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process. The representative will also be expected to collaborate with colleagues as necessary to resolve customer issues and improve service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Communicating with customers through various channels, including calls, email, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.
  • Knowledge of product and inventory management.
  • Processing orders from initially keying to closing out.
  • Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
  • Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.
  • Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction and providing professional customer support.
  • Effectively managing the POS system for fuel pumps at needed locations (Biloxi, Louisville, Jackson).
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

  • Minimum of an associate degree; Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of prior customer service representative experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills and diligence.
  • Strong people skills and open-mindedness in receiving instructions.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Goal-oriented with an understanding of business math.
  • Ability to recognize and interpret trends.
  • Ability to learn and understand the back-office software system.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office is required.
  • Knowledge of lubricants and fuels is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior E3 experience not required but preferred.
