About the position

The Customer Service Representative at Simco-Ion plays a crucial role in supporting and servicing customer accounts, primarily in the U.S. and Europe, with some assistance for Asia. This full-time position emphasizes accuracy and efficiency, requiring the representative to work collaboratively within a small team to address customer needs effectively. Responsibilities

  • Receive inbound calls and respond to calls as appropriate
  • Accurately enter customer sales orders and quotes
  • Process/prioritize inbound orders for order entry
  • Customer follow up for order confirmations and changes
  • Support with R.M.A. processing as requested
  • Providing customer order/backlog reports
  • Document and audit existing procedures inline with ISO compliance

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, G.E.D, or equivalent (Required)
  • Prior customer service experience in an office environment is required
  • Prior experience working in an ERP system is required
  • Experience with Salesforce is a benefit
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Exceptional data entry skills and strong attention to detail
  • Basic computer literacy skills with Excel Pivot tables, Outlook, MS Office, and other related business tools
