About the position

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in the Investment Management industry, based in Old Greenwich, Connecticut. This role involves handling customer interactions, maintaining customer records, and providing support for various customer-related issues. It offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide them with necessary support and information
• Efficiently handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary
• Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency
• Check-in customers and distribute materials as required
• Support event set-up and execution
• Maintain detailed and accurate customer credit records
• Directly interact with customers, providing exceptional customer service at all times
• Continually work towards improving customer support processes.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to resolve customer issues effectively and efficiently
• Experience in a direct-customer-facing role
• Proficiency in providing high-quality customer support
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Knowledge of investment management or financial services industry is a plus
• Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software
• Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• High school diploma or equivalent; higher education degree is a plus
• Ability to work in a team and build positive relationships
• Flexibility to work in different shifts or extended hours when necessary.
