About the position

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service in an office environment. This role involves handling inquiries via phone and email, assisting clients with product information, order processing, and issue resolution, while also performing administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be proactive in following up with customers and identifying upselling opportunities, contributing to an enhanced customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service by responding to inquiries via phone and email.
  • Assist clients with product information, order processing, and issue resolution.
  • Conduct outbound calling to follow up on customer inquiries and feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in our computerized system.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling products based on customer needs.
  • Stay informed about product updates and company policies to effectively assist customers.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a customer service or client-facing role is preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree or commensurate work experience.
  • Previous work experience in an office setting is required.
  • Computer experience in an Apple/Mac office environment is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Quickbooks Online accounting software is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in an office environment with a focus on teamwork.
  • Experience with outbound calling and sales techniques is advantageous.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in daily work.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software for data entry and record keeping.
