About the position

PPG Aerospace is seeking a Customer Service Representative to serve as the primary point of contact for customers at the Woodinville, Washington site. This role is crucial for ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and involves responsibilities in order administration, communication, and support for the sales team. The representative will need to maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customers while managing data and responding to inquiries efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with internal and external customers
• Respond promptly to customer quotes, orders, inquiries, and invoicing issues
• Enter and manage data, including issuing customer quotes and managing sales orders
• Ensure accurate responses to customer requests and maintain regular communication and status updates
• Perform purchase order reviews and resolve customer account inquiries as needed
• Coordinate with plant production, purchasing, and logistics to ensure product availability and shipment
• Operate various computer software, including QAD, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and other Windows-based applications
• Demonstrate strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Maintain quality professional relationships and ensure responsiveness to customer needs
• Participate in all audits in QAD, AS9100, Nadcap FAA, EH&S, and export compliance

Requirements

• One (1) year of experience providing customer service in a corporate environment preferred, OR six months of experience working at PPG in a similar support role required
• Experience providing customer service to businesses of all sizes, from large corporations to small businesses, preferred
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
