About the position

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) at Best Friends Pet Care Inc. is a part-time role focused on providing exceptional service to both human and pet guests. CSRs are the first point of contact for guests, responsible for building relationships and ensuring a welcoming environment. This position offers opportunities for growth within a well-established, employee-owned company that has been in business for nearly 30 years, with over 50 locations across the country.

Responsibilities

• Main lobby operations including check-ins, check-outs, guest visits, and tours.
• Answering and handling calls in a professional manner.
• Maintaining cleanliness of the facility.
• Scheduling appointments and managing file maintenance.
• Data entry tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of data entry experience.
• Possess a love of animals.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift/carry 40 pounds or more.
• Able to stand/walk for eight hours a day.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work on a computer system.
• Able to handle dogs on leashes and work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander, and excretions.
