About the position

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative located in Rochester, New York. The role operates within the Manufacturing industry, with the main function being to handle customer inquiries, maintain customer records, and process applications.

Responsibilities

• Handle a mix of incoming and outgoing calls to resolve customer issues
• Document customer interactions in a database accurately
• Schedule service appointments as per customer requests
• Process customer applications in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate customer records for future reference
• Use skills such as 'Answering Inbound Calls' and 'Call Center Customer Service' to ensure customer satisfaction
• Troubleshoot issues for customers effectively
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Maintain a high level of proficiency in typing, at a speed of 45+ words per minute
• Multitask effectively to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.

Requirements

• Must be proficient in answering inbound calls.
• Proven experience in call center customer service is required.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Must be detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are necessary.
• Must have the ability to handle difficult customer interactions with patience and professionalism.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and practices is desired.
• Should have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must be able to work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Must have excellent problem-solving skills.
• Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; further education in a related field is a plus.
• Bilingual abilities may be beneficial.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, may be required.
