About the position

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Spartanburg, South Carolina, within the manufacturing industry. This long-term contract position involves being the primary point of contact for customers, managing inbound calls, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining accurate customer records.

Responsibilities

• Manage and respond to high volumes of inbound customer calls in a timely and efficient manner
• Deliver exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, providing information, and addressing any issues or concerns
• Maintain and update customer records accurately in our database
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word for data entry and order entry tasks
• Communicate effectively with customers through email correspondence
• Coordinate and schedule appointments as required
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary
• Handle both inbound and outbound calls professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with the team to improve customer service operations and enhance the customer experience.

Requirements

• Proficiency in answering inbound calls and handling customer inquiries.
• Prior experience in a call center customer service role.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on satisfaction and retention.
• Ability to perform data entry tasks with high accuracy.
• Skilled in managing email correspondence and responding to customer queries in a timely manner.
• Experience with both inbound and outbound calls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Experience in order entry and processing customer orders.
• Ability to schedule appointments and manage customer bookings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
