About the position

The Customer Service Representative at East Coast Fireplace & Sweeps will serve as the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a positive and professional image for the company. This role is essential in providing outstanding customer service, managing inquiries, and resolving issues efficiently while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Manage a high volume of incoming calls and emails while maintaining a positive and professional attitude
  • Empathize with customers and demonstrate a customer-centric approach in all interactions
  • Create order from chaos by managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively
  • Act as a calm and reassuring presence for customers in urgent or stressful situations
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience from start to finish
  • Maintain accurate and detailed customer records in our CRM database

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to diffuse difficult situations
  • Customer-centric personality with the ability to empathize with customer needs
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to thrive in a busy environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency with computers and experience using customer service software
  • High school diploma or equivalent education required, college degree preferred
