About the position

Adecco is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join their team in Hoffman Estates, IL. This hybrid role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing customer inquiries, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies. The position offers opportunities for upskilling and potential permanent placement with the client.

Responsibilities

  • Create quotes and orders per customer requests in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Answer customer inquiries on open orders and shipment status, providing tracking information as requested.
  • Track shipments that are invoiced at delivery and remove billing blocks for invoicing.
  • Send requested documentation such as MSDS sheets and commercial invoice copies.
  • Follow up on open RMAs, credits, debits, and consignments, updating equipment records with warranty information.
  • Assist with projects as assigned and provide backup for other team members.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and internal controls, including the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of similar experience or administration experience.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) or equivalent software.
