About the position

Brady Corporation is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join the Electromark team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role is focused on providing exceptional service to both new and existing customers, handling order entry, quoting, service requests, and complaints while adhering to SOX and ISO requirements. The position aims to ensure a best-in-class customer experience through effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Handle customer interactions via phone or email from start to finish, including consultation, quotation, order management, and collaboration.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all products in the division and major product lines to advise customers effectively.
  • Identify and assess problems in straightforward situations using standard procedures to make sound decisions.
  • Develop relationships with customers to provide an unrivaled customer experience using product and process knowledge.
  • Contribute to company and department goals by initiating ideas and demonstrating decision-making skills.
  • Provide product and service information to customers and identify application solutions to maintain revenue streams.
  • Solve unique and complex problems that impact the business broadly.
  • Engage in process improvement through collaboration with peers, inter-company departments, and leadership.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma is required; Associate's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years related experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
  • Proven problem-solving and communication skills with effective time management abilities.
  • Ability to understand and follow standard work procedures for effective decision-making.
  • Commitment to superior customer service and ability to build cross-functional relationships.
  • Solid computer skills, particularly with Google Suite.
  • Strong sense of personal and professional accountability.
  • Willingness to learn ongoing manufacturing capabilities, Trade Compliance, and International Regulations.
