About the position

The Customer Service Representative at Nashville International Airport (BNA) plays a crucial role in assisting travelers by providing information about airport services, wayfinding, and customer service programs. This position involves managing lost and found services, responding to inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience for all airport users.

Responsibilities

• Provide information to customers regarding check-in procedures, airline counter locations, baggage checking and retrieval, concourse and gate locations, airline schedules, and ground transportation.
• Operate lost and found service and other customer service programs.
• Maintain information center files and monitor the Flight Information Display System (FIDS) to ensure up-to-date information.
• Report deficiencies in janitorial and housekeeping services and identify environmental hazards in accordance with OSHA regulations.
• Make announcements or pages over the public address system as requested.
• Assist international travelers with questions and provide information as requested, including using the language line service for non-English speaking travelers.
• Provide literature and assist the public regarding tourist accommodations, hotels, restaurants, and historical points of interest.
• Maintain a traveling public comment log and prepare monthly reports.
• Assist in scheduling and conducting tours of the airport terminal building.
• Maintain an updated brochure list and order brochures as needed.
• Follow all safety regulations and maintain regular and on-time attendance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in a customer service-related field.

Nice-to-haves

• Associate's Degree in a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in hospitality, customer service, or a related field.
