About the position

Sewer Equipment is seeking a Customer Service Representative to enhance the after-sales experience by fostering customer relationships, resolving issues, and ensuring positive interactions that add value to every transaction. This full-time role is based in Dixon, IL, and involves processing orders, maintaining records, and providing support across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Process orders ranging in difficulty from basic to very complex.
  • Maintain accurate records of prices, inventory, and other key information.
  • Navigate between multiple data sources to provide Warranty and RMA support for customers.
  • Record all sales transactions in Made2Manage software.
  • Follow prescribed credit card processing procedures.
  • Provide communication and support to associated departments and managers to enable best practices.
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by the manager.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a Customer Service or Inventory management role strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn operation of our ERP system - Made to Manage.
  • Ability to speak effectively and possess good listening skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
