About the position

The Customer Service Representative at Oregon Generators will serve as the primary point of contact for customers and technicians, facilitating communication between the Clackamas, OR and Kent, WA offices. This role involves handling customer inquiries, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring a high level of service and organization within the office.

Responsibilities

  • Answer telephones and direct callers to the appropriate associate.
  • Transfer callers to an associate's voice mailbox when the associate is unavailable.
  • Greet and direct visitors to the company.
  • Take and retrieve messages for various personnel.
  • Provide callers with information such as company address, directions, fax numbers, and website.
  • Receive, sort, and forward incoming mail.
  • Maintain and route publications.
  • Coordinate the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.).
  • Assist in ordering, receiving, stocking, and distribution of office supplies.
  • Assist with clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing, and collating.
  • Conduct filter sales.
  • Enter registration information into the system.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of customer service experience
  • Friendly, outgoing demeanor
  • Professional telephone skills
  • Experience operating a multi-line phone system
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Able to communicate clearly in English both verbally and in writing
  • Spanish speaking is a plus
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
