About the position

The Customer Service Representative at Rockfront LLC plays a crucial role in maintaining customer accounts and fostering strong relationships through effective communication. This position is essential for ensuring the timely processing of customer orders and addressing any issues that may arise, all while meeting the company's objectives in the corrugated box manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, fax, and email for assigned customers.
  • Resolve issues by collaborating with internal contacts and external customers.
  • Communicate with customers or sales representatives regarding production delays that may affect shipment timelines.
  • Research and review order issues, providing input on steps taken for problem resolution.
  • Record necessary changes to orders and/or due dates in production.
  • Receive and process customer orders, verifying pricing and entering orders based on customer needs, including special instructions.
  • Monitor the production schedule to ensure delivery dates are met.
  • Ensure all order documentation complies with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain customer records, including contact information and pricing.
  • Manage blanket purchase orders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in customer service or related field.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Entry-level position.
