Responsibilities

• Process customer requests over phone, fax, and email accurately and timely.
• Resolve customer complaints to ensure satisfaction for both customers and the company.
• Coordinate foreign sales and services as needed.
• Answer incoming calls and forward them to the appropriate department.
• Take orders using a computerized system and assist in order placement.
• Open new accounts and update existing information in IQMS.
• Quote rates using IQMS and resolve inquiries regarding pricing and billing.
• Assist Accounting with deductions and invoice issues.
• Coordinate customer requests with various departments regarding product status and inquiries.
• Maintain effective communication and positive relationships with customers and distributors.
• Keep supervisors informed of customer complaints to initiate corrective actions.
• Process documentation including customer orders and export declarations.
• Prepare necessary paperwork for NAFTA and Country of Origin when required.
• Receive and process export orders and follow departmental procedures for quality assurance.

Requirements

• High School diploma and 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Must be computer literate with excellent listening and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Excellent communication and telephone skills are required.
• Mathematical skills to perform basic calculations and interpret data.
