About the position

Taylor Corporation is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team in Jeffersonville, IN. This full-time position involves acting as the first point of contact for customers, resolving issues, and supporting the national customer service team. The role requires effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Act as first point of contact at the production facility to resolve customer issues
  • Prepare and monitor high priority customer orders
  • Support & consult with the national customer service team to provide recommendations and solutions
  • Provide assistance primarily via email and some phone calls
  • Assist sales with customer orders to include pricing and order status
  • Coordinate daily with production scheduling to ensure on time processing of orders
  • Support the facility's front office duties including sorting and organizing files, cross-training on order management & accounting applications

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year experience in Customer Service-related field
  • Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing
  • Must possess professional phone and email etiquette
  • Strong multi-tasking ability, attention to detail, and analytic problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment
  • Strong computer experience including the Microsoft Office suite
