About the position

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) at Bank of Utah plays a crucial role in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers. Under the guidance of the Customer Service Manager, the CSR is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences by addressing a wide range of financial service needs. This position also involves leading the branch team to achieve branch goals while adhering to banking policies and compliance regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and represent the bank to current and potential customers, employees, and vendors in a professional manner.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers by understanding their financial needs and providing appropriate solutions.
  • Encourage a positive working environment that aligns with the bank's cultural beliefs.
  • Perform routine and complex transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and account maintenance, while ensuring cash security and accuracy.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of the bank's products and services, promoting them to customers and converting service opportunities to sales.
  • Proactively address customer service issues and troubleshoot online and mobile banking problems.
  • Stay updated on banking regulations and complete required compliance training.
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions for professional development.

Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous cash handling experience preferred.
