About the position

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) at UnCommon Farms LLC plays a crucial role in supporting Insurance Risk Advisors and farm clients across North America. This full-time position requires a dedicated and experienced individual who excels in organization, coordination, and communication. The CSR will interact professionally with clients and insurance providers, ensuring that farm families can achieve their operational goals and maintain profitable and sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls, screen inquiries, and transfer calls to appropriate personnel.
  • Compose correspondence in response to inquiries.
  • Prepare agents for successful sales by providing necessary information.
  • Analyze insurance applications and policy-related documents.
  • Perform data entry into appropriate systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Submit completed applications, claims, and paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Process incoming and outgoing paperwork for agents.
  • Investigate and reconcile discrepancies in files.
  • Advise customers on company information, products, and programs.
  • Perform general clerical work to maintain filing and tracking systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of related experience in insurance and agribusiness.
  • Crop Insurance License and/or Property & Casualty License preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to work remotely.
