About the position

The Customer Service Representative position involves handling inbound and outbound calls in a call center environment, primarily focused on obtaining insurance renewals and document updates. The role requires professionalism and attention to detail while interacting with insurance agents and clients. This position is 100% onsite in Plano, Texas, and operates within business hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to insurance agents and/or carriers to obtain insurance renewals or mortgage updates.
  • Receive inbound calls from insurance agents, typically returning a call initiated by the call center representative.
  • Initiate outbound client/insurance agent calls to request document updates with professionalism.
  • Document all call information and update records based on interactions.
  • Forward all written communication received from insurance agents to the Analysts for review daily.
  • Work shifts within business hours, which are 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a mail handling environment, professional call center, or client support role.
  • Basic computer skills including MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Demonstrated ability to give close attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate clearly through verbal and written communication, using proper spelling and grammar.
  • Ability to type 40 WPM.
  • Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-based, and metric-driven call center environment.
