About the position

The Customer Service Representative at KINK3D is responsible for providing high-quality customer service primarily through email communication. This role requires a passion for customer service, an understanding of intimate subjects, and the ability to engage with customers in a warm and professional manner. The position also involves some order fulfillment tasks and requires adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-touch, friendly customer service over email, focusing on kink and chastity topics.
  • Moderate and engage with the community on sub-Reddits.
  • Create, adjust, cancel, and look up orders on Shopify.
  • Perform physical pick and pack tasks as needed.
  • Process, verify, and ship orders using multiple digital systems.
  • Prepare shipping materials, including folding boxes and applying stickers.

Requirements

  • 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a written format.
  • Strong writing skills and ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
  • Familiarity with digital web apps such as Google Workspace, Help Scout, Shopify, and Slack.
  • Comfortable discussing bodies, sexuality, and kink in a professional manner.
  • Vaccinated for COVID-19.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to type a minimum of 60 words per minute.
  • Familiarity with the Shopify e-commerce platform.
  • Experience with Reddit moderation.
  • Experience on small customer service teams with a focus on email.
