About the position

The Customer Service Representative role involves providing clerical and customer service support in a fast-paced office environment. The position requires a self-motivated individual who is ready to learn and work as part of a team. The representative will handle various tasks including phone communication, record-keeping, and scheduling, while contributing to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Answering and transferring phone calls, receiving mail and packages, and dispersing them appropriately.
  • Updating records, filing materials, and searching for files.
  • Preparing reports by selecting data from records or statistics, and checking records for accuracy.
  • Scheduling appointments for maintenance and service calls, conferences, and meetings.
  • Writing and organizing tentative postcard maintenance appointments, real estate transactions, and new homeowner packets.
  • Preparing schedules, correspondence, documentation, and other materials, such as paper copies and emails.
  • Ordering, purchasing, and invoicing office supplies.
  • Performing miscellaneous office tasks as necessary.
  • Shared housekeeping of office space.
  • Changing the outdoor sign weekly.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in Microsoft Excel.
  • 2 years of experience in phone etiquette.
  • 2 years of experience in Microsoft Word.
  • Reliable transportation year-round.
  • Ability to commute to Salem, CT 06420.
  • Ability to relocate to Salem, CT 06420 before starting work.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in customer service or clerical duties.
  • Familiarity with FieldEdge Software.
